Opportunity to have your arrest record sealed or expunged from public view
February 4, 2022
Do you have an arrest record in Broward County?
An arrest record can keep you from getting a job or renting a place to live and create other challenges.
The Broward State Attorney’s Office is hosting an arrest record sealing and expungement workshop from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on March 3 at the Miramar Multi-Service Complex, 6700 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, FL 33023. Broward State Attorney Harold F. Pryor is hosting the event in partnership with the Broward County Clerk of Courts, the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the City of Miramar, Miramar Mayor Wayne Messam, and the Miramar Police Department.
If you were charged with a crime in Broward County and the case did not result in a conviction, you may be eligible to have a single arrest record expunged. If you were charged with a crime in Broward County and you received an adjudication withheld, that case may be eligible to be sealed. Only cases that occurred in Broward County are eligible for review. Our staff and volunteers will help qualified applicants to complete the process.
Applicants are encouraged to register and fill out this online application form in advance of the workshop. Walk-ins are welcome.
