Due to size restrictions, voluminous discovery, CDs/DVDs containing audio or video files will not be sent electronically.
The Broward State Attorney’s Office accepts service of court documents electronically to our portal e-mail address courtdocs@sao17.state.fl.us in a “PDF” format. Please do not send anything other than PDF-format court documents to this email address. (For inquiries or questions, please email: sao17@sao17.state.fl.us.)
To file electronically with the Clerk of Courts using the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal, please visit https://www.myflcourtaccess.com.
FOR NON-ATTORNEYS
Under the Florida Rules of Judicial Administration 2.516, non-attorneys are not obliged to serve filings on our office by E-Service. You may mail, fax or hand deliver court filings to any of our offices for acceptable service.
Please keep in mind that the filing of court documents to our office, will not satisfy the requirement to file with the Broward Clerk of Courts. (https://www.browardclerk.org/GeneralInformation/eFiling#General)
