Opportunity to have your arrest record sealed or expunged from public view
January 25, 2024
Do you have an arrest record in Broward County?
An arrest record can keep you from getting a job or renting a place to live, as well as creating other challenges.
The Broward State Attorney’s Office is hosting a free arrest record sealing and expungement workshop from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on February 22, 2024, at the Urban League of Broward County, 560 Northwest 27th Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311.
Broward State Attorney Harold F. Pryor is hosting the event in partnership with the Broward County Clerk of Courts, the Broward Sheriff’s Office, and the Urban League of Broward County. Thank you for sponsorship assistance from Greenspoon Marder LLP and the Westside Gazette.
If you were charged with a crime in Broward County and the case did not result in a conviction, you may be eligible to have a single arrest record expunged. If you were charged with a crime in Broward County and you received an adjudication withheld, that case may be eligible to be sealed. Only cases that occurred in Broward County are eligible for review. Our staff and volunteers will help qualified applicants to complete the process.
Adult and juvenile walk-ins are welcome. Please bring a valid ID. More information here. Please see downloadable event flyers in English, Spanish and Creole below.
