Don’t miss this opportunity to have your arrest record sealed or expunged from public view
October 17, 2021
Do you have an arrest record in Broward County?
An arrest record can keep you from gaining employment, renting a place to live, and create many other challenges.
The Broward State Attorney’s Office is hosting an arrest record sealing and expungement workshop on Thursday October 28, 2021. This event is being hosted by Broward State Attorney Harold F. Pryor in partnership with the Broward County Clerk of Courts, the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the TJ Reddick Bar Association, the City of Lauderhill and the Lauderhill Police Department.
If you were charged with a crime in Broward County and the case did not result in a conviction, you may be eligible to have a single arrest record expunged. If you were charged with a crime in Broward County and you received an adjudication withheld, that case may be eligible to be sealed. Only cases that occurred in Broward County are eligible for review.
Due to COVID safety measures, applicants MUST register and fill out this online application form in advance for the workshop. No walk-ins will be accepted. All applicants will be contacted by our office. All who qualify for sealing or expungement will be provided with a time and location in Lauderhill where our staff and volunteers will help them to complete the process.
All applicants must register and apply in advance and will be contacted prior to the event. Click here to register and apply: https://browardsao.com/prequalify-now-seal-expunge-workshop/
