
Join our Broward State Attorney’s Office victim advocates for Prosecutorial Support Group educational meetings to help victims and survivors of any crime in Broward County understand the justice process and learn about available resources.
These meetings will help you learn about victims’ rights, the criminal justice process, and available resources in our community. Meet our victim advocates who will walk you through navigating the criminal justice system as a victim or survivor and answer your questions.
Open to all victims of crime in Broward County. Join us from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Nancy J. Cotterman Center, 2995 North Dixie Highway, Oakland Park, FL 33334 on the following dates:
Tuesday, June 16: Judicial Community Resources
Thursday, October 8: Restraining Orders vs. No Contact Orders
Thursday, Dec. 10: Depositions and Plea Negotiations
We realize that being a victim or witness to a crime is the first experience that many individuals have with the criminal justice and juvenile justice systems. As a victim or witness, you have certain rights within the system.
