Do you have an arrest record in Broward County? An arrest record can keep you from getting a job or renting a home and create other challenges.

The Broward State Attorney’s Office is hosting a FREE one-stop arrest record sealing and expungement workshop from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Johnny L. Tigner Community Center, 445 SW 2nd Street Deerfield Beach, FL 33441.

Broward State Attorney Harold F. Pryor and volunteers from our office are hosting the event in partnership with the Broward County Clerk of Courts, the Broward Sheriff’s Office, and the City of Deerfield Beach. Thank you for sponsorship assistance from Greenspoon Marder LLP, the Broward County Bar Association, the Law Office of the Public Defender, and The Westside Gazette.

Only cases that occurred in Broward County are eligible for review. Our staff and volunteers will help qualified applicants to complete the process.

Adult and juvenile walk-ins are welcome. Please bring a valid ID.

If you were charged with a crime in Broward County and the case did not result in a conviction, you may be eligible to have a single arrest record expunged. If you were charged with a crime in Broward County and received an adjudication withheld, that case may be eligible to be sealed.
